- Booking and Reservation
Booking Confirmation: Upon booking you will receive a booking confirmation with all relevant details. Please check these details are correct.
Payment:Please note that we accept your booking in good faith and no deposit is required. Full payment is required upon or before drop-off.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 7 days prior to the reservation date will not be charged. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the booking will result in a charge of 20% of the total booking fee.
- Health and Safety
Vaccinations: All dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and parvovirus, and provide proof of vaccination upon check-in.
Parasite Control: Dogs must be treated for fleas, ticks, and other parasites prior to their stay. Dogs found to have parasites will be treated at the owner’s expense.
Health Declaration: Owners must disclose any known medical conditions, behavioural issues, or allergies their dog may have. If a dog becomes ill or injured during its stay, the kennel will contact the owner immediately. In case the owner cannot be reached, we will take appropriate action, including veterinary treatment, at the owner’s expense.
- Drop-off and Pick-up
Check-in and Check-out: Dogs must be dropped off and picked up within the specified hours of operation. Any late pick-up or early drop-off may incur an additional fee.
Late Pick-up Fees: Any dog not picked up during normal business hours will incur a fee of 5€ per hour.
Identification: All dogs should wear an ID tag with the owner’s contact information. We recommend that dogs also have a collar or harness.
- Behavior and Conduct
Aggressive Behavior: Dogs exhibiting aggressive behaviour toward staff or other dogs may not be accepted or may be asked to leave the facility at any time. If this occurs, the owner is responsible for arranging immediate pick-up.
Biting or Injury: If a dog bites another dog or a staff member, the owner will be held liable for any resulting injuries or damages.
Training Requirements: Owners are encouraged to inform us of any specific training or behavioural needs their dog has. We do not provide formal training, but we will accommodate dogs with certain behavioural needs where possible.
- Boarding Services
Feeding: Owners should provide their dog’s food, and any specific feeding instructions should be clearly communicated at check-in. We can provide food at an additional cost if necessary.
Exercise and Playtime: Daily walks and playtime are included as part of our service, but additional services (e.g., extra walks, grooming) may be available at an extra charge.
- Liability
Damage to Property: Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their dog to the kennel’s property during their stay. A damage fee will be charged if necessary.
Limitation of Liability: While every effort will be made to ensure the safety and well-being of your dog, we cannot be held liable for any illness, injury, loss, or damage to your dog while in our care, except in cases of negligence or wilful misconduct.
- Emergency Contact
Emergency Contact Information: The owner must provide emergency contact details in case they cannot be reached. If the owner cannot be contacted, the kennel will make decisions in the best interest of the dog, including emergency veterinary care.
- Privacy and Data
Confidentiality: We respect your privacy and will keep all information provided during the booking process confidential. This includes your contact details, payment information, and any medical or behavioural information provided for your dog.
- Agreement
Acceptance of Terms: By booking your dog’s stay at Happy Paws Hotel you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. Any breach of these terms may result in the termination of the dog’s stay and/or future bookings.
